As a lifelong resident herself, Carrie holds a passion: To help our Lathrop, MO community by giving our families a safe, trusting place to bring their children.
Carrie’s Child Care was founded in 1995 when she started her in-home childcare. Carrie and her husband, Ray, grew their family into a family of 6.
In 2004, she received her in-home childcare license, as her own kids ventured off to school, and in 2008, she worked for accreditation.
It is her love for children and enjoyment of the profession that will keep her in this business for years to come.
In her spare time, Carrie enjoys being actively involved with her 9 grandchildren.
We lost our 14 month old grandson to SIDS in 2016.
At the time, I was told about a tale about a dragonfly being a sign of a visitor from heaven. 2 weeks after his passing, a dragonfly showed up in our backyard. Literally diving and playing with the children.
Never in my previous 20 years had I or any kids noticed a dragonfly before. It showed up every day after. The kids looked for it, chased it, and played. Needless to say, I believe in the tale and am obsessed with dragonflies now.
KNOW that whether you have had an infant/child loss, and with our sweet Remington’s memory, a piece of heaven will touch each child that comes through our door.
Our Enrollment Process:
Call us OR fill out our "Availability Form" to find out if we have a spot for your child.
Once we've confirmed that we have a spot for your child, please schedule a tour of our facility.
At your facility tour, you can fill out enrollment papers and secure a spot at that time.
Your child is all set!
